    Monologue at the Museum 2019

Students will contribute to the educational programs at the War in the Pacific National Park by participating in the Monologue at the Museum Writer's Workshop. They will choose a historical figure from the World War II era to research. They will write a monologue that may be performed in a program for the public later in the school year. Students chosen for this project will have the opportunity to participate in many learning experiences designed to give them a rich background from which to write their monologues. It has a service aspect because the Park needs the volunteer service of students to be able to have performable scripts for the next Day at the Museum - performances of these monologues. There will be AT LEAST 10 hours of focused writing time scheduled for their monologues.
