- The activites we want will engage the audience to share their experience with mental health and/or substance misuse prevention.
- Research what topic you’d like to learn more about as well as teach the audience that will be participating. (ie. 8 dimensions of wellness, mental health, substance use prevention)
- Creating an interactive activity that can be done at an outreach event that you will incorporate what you’ve learned into it. (ie. Creating and designing a poster board asking the audience what they do to take care of their mental health and letting the audience share their answers on sticky notes to place on the poster board)
- Create a checklist of necessary material for the activity (ie. Completed poster board, markers, sticky notes, tape..)
- Schedule a time/day to demonstrate and present the activity to GBHWC-PEACE staff.
