Come out to plant trees with UOG Sea Grant G.R.O.W (Guam Restoration of
Watersheds) Initiative to help restore the Ugum Watershed!
The community plantings will be held on Saturdays September 7, October 5, November 9. Students will be taken on a 30-minute tour of our project site in Ugum. The tour will include an educational lesson on watersheds and GROW’s goals for Ugum. The tour will end with the students planting trees. All holes are pre-drilled by the GROW team. The students will have to pull the tree sapling out of the pod, drop it down the hole, pour some fertilizer, and then cover it with dirt from the side.
