ProStart Cooking and Nutrition Classes at Island Girl Power

If you are a ProStart student at any of the the designated high schools, you have an opportunity to earn service learning hours by applying the skills you are acquiring in this program. You will teach a cooking and nutrition class at the Island Girl Power Clubhouse.

IGP has a partnership with ProStart to enhance the skills of students in ProStart in a real-life situation in the community. By participating in this project, you will also give young IGP members a positive role model and a connection to higher education through the GCC Culinary Arts program.
