Help students with transportation or disability issues to be able to participate in service learning no matter what their family or physical issues may be. Research and learn about one or more non-profit organizations and present your information to your class to help your peer to know about the services in the community.
This project was created to assist students in accessing viable projects that teach service while educating the student about specific social, environmental, or mental health issues and the services available on Guam to address these issues.
Select a Non-Profit that operates on Guam (maybe deals with this months observances) create a powerpoint, essay, video, or informational flier to help spread the word with your peers Write your reflection Page Submit your project to the non-profit for their outreach efforts.
Use poster boeard at school to increase awareness of the different programs that could benefit the community
This is a Research Based Project... no site visit is necessary

Comments about the Project Location
Student to work from home or from a viable computer internet cafe. Part of the project is to give the presentation to your peers or a neighboring middle school after your teach approves it. Must arrange the presentation yourself or through your teacher.
