  • Description

HOME BASED - FOR STUDENTS WITH NO TRANSPORTATION Look up upcoming (MONTH) Observance online and research what the cause is and what color, if there is a ribbon associated with that cause. With less than $5 a student can buy a spool of ribbons that match that month and present to the class the information they learned, then pass out the ribbons to help spread awareness about that cause. Higher grade levels can be required to put together a power point, poster board, or create a video aimed at increasing awareness of that cause or issue in the community.

Presentations done by students should be reviewed by their teacher first, since some issues or causes touch on topics like sexual assault, family violence, and other sensitive issues.
