Occasionally we have projects scheduled around our facility that require extra volunteers, hard labor work that cannot be done by the few people we have on staff. Or it will take them much longer to finish the project alone.
We ask for help with large projects such as....
*HOLES- for planting around the facility
*GATE MURAL - Design and Construction *General Cleaning around compound
*Planting Projects in and around facility
*Pulling grass from fenceline/community garden walkways
*Mulching green waste
*rearranging plants, etc...
Assist us in planting many varieties of native and indigenous plants around our facility expand youths awareness of our services and efforts to reduce teen pregnancy, suicide, sexual and substance abuse
General upkeep of our facility to improve the appearance and overall usefulness of the compound
Teach youth how to plan and organize task lists taking volunteers, supplies and time frames into consideration
Contact us to schedule a volunteer orientation & safety briefing, take down scheduled work days task lists so that you can dress appropriately.
