  • Description

    Support of students with disabilities. Participants create products celebrating the holidays for students in Resource Room. All products to include vocabulary words defined to support the learning of language. Participants may also assist students with disabilities in recreational games or class work to increase all students' self-esteem.

    Give opportunities to assist students with disabilites. Participants will support  their peers with disabilities through making learning tools, crafts, and and 1 on 1 interactions.

    reflective, creative, and critical members of a variety of literacy communities.

    In order for students to earn Service Learning hours, you will need to submit a reflection demonstrating the service learning. You should address: What did you do? What did you learn? What character traits did I demonstrate in this project? (trustworthiness, honesty, courtesy, respect, responsibility, accountability, self-reliance) What was the service?
