  • Description

    This project is to promote Programs that fall under the Guam Gifted and Talented Education Program.

    Career Pathway/Field

    Objective

    Will participate in advocating for educational activities available to all students who would benefit from gifted and talented programs.

    Social Studies Standard: (AG 4.17)
    Explain the importance of thoughtful and effective participation in civic life, such as ...performing public service. In this case, the students will promote the educational opportunities available through the GATE programs. 

    Instructions

    • create a poster to promote GATE programs available
    • participation during one of the scheduled activity dates: Friday, February 3, 2017 4- 5:30pm, Friday, February 10, 2017 4-5:30pm and Friday, February 17, 2017 4-5:30pm.
    • Students need to write a reflection of their learning as a result of participating in this project. What did you do? What did you learn? Why was this activity a service to the community?
