  • Description

      1. John F. Kennedy High School Cadets will assist the Girl Scouts with their 2k/5k. Cadets will also be learning how the Girl Scouts work. Cadets will show up in flight shirts for this event. The first years will be wearing either Echo or Delta, second years will be wearing Charlie, the third years will be wearing Bravo and the seniors will be wearing Alpha. The shifts will be based on the time cadets are available. Event will approximately start at 14:00 and end at 21:00. After the event, cadets are required to write a one page reflection about what they learned during the event, how the event made them feel and what they want to know more of.

    EXAMPLE(S): Write a reflection of ways to promote the health benefits of physical activity to peers. 


    Cadets will sign up one the Guam Service Learning Website. After signing up through the website, cadets will then inform their Flt. Commanders of their attendance. A 1 page reflection will be required after the event and will be submitted to the Flt. Commanders no later than the 1st of February, 2017.

    Write a one page reflection about what they learned during the event, how the event made them feel and what they want to know more of. What is the value of physical activity? Why are the Girl Scouts a helpful community organization?

    This day of physical activity will keep the cadets physically active. Cadets will learn about the Girl Scouts and what they are intended to do. Cadets will also learn communication skills during this
