    Peer Support at JFKHS 2019-2020

    If you are interested in teaching or helping students who have disabilities, Ms. San Nicolas at JFKHS is providing this service learning opportunity to give these special students support. If you do not attend JFKHS and would like to use this project as a model, please do. You can either find a teacher at your school who would support you, or contact Ms.San Nicolas at JFK for guidance on how to proceed.

    Manell Tree Plantings

    Guam forestry will be planting 12,000 trees over a 33-acre footprint in the southern most village of Guam, Malesso. These trees will aid in reducing the amount of sediment that enters nearshore waters which have negative impacts on coral and marine health.

    Recycling at Guam Liberation Day Parade and Carnival

     Learn & Earn! Learn how to recycle properly with Ms. Peggy Denney and the GCC Ecowarriors at the Guam Liberation Day Parade and Carnival this summer. Earn anywhere from 4 to 45+ service learning hours depending on the number of hours you commit to.

    Conservation Ranger Academy

    Learn about our environment and what you can do to help protect and preserve it, through hiking and snorkeling in a safe environment and through presentations and field trips.  You will also build leadership, mentoring and team building skills through fun activities and games.

    GAMETIME Youth Football League Assistants

    Gametime is seeking HIGH SCHOOL students to help coach the youth football league ages 4-15 yrs old in Tiyan.

    Gametime’s THE HUDDLE

    Gametime is seeking HIGH SCHOOL students to assist in he Huddle program at various schools during the school year (elementary & middle school) and the summer (summer school). Gametime Inc. is a non-profit, faith-based organization established on the island of Guam in 2014. Gametime Inc. is founded by two couples: John V. & Fina Leon Guerrero and Brian & Bernice McGill. They envisioned starting the Gametime Inc. as a way to take their passion for God, people, and health and give back to the people of Guam. The HUDDLE program is

    Calling all Guam high school students with a passion for theatre! A Day at the Museum, Preservation in Action combines fine art and theatre with Guam World War II History to encourage and educate Guam high school students, their families, and the community, to engage with the stories of people during World War II on Guam.

    Sanctuary Incorporated of Guam 9th Annual Youth Fest

    Sanctuary Incorporated of Guam will be hosting its 9th Annual Youth Festival on Saturday April 27, 2019 at the Festival Huts Chamorro Village in Hagatna from 11:00 am – 3: 00 pm.  This year's theme entitled #manhobenSTRONG will showcase a variety of talents from a diverse group of island youth. Learn how to lead a "strong" healthy lifestyle and share this information with others to earn service learning hours.

    Ironkids Chalan Lumasu Cleanup

     Looking to have fun and meet new people? Join us and our neighboring kids of the Ironwood community as we venture out 1 Saturday a month and pick up trash along Chalan Lumasu road.Last clean-up day is this Saturday, April 27.

    Guam March to Protect Mother Earth

    Be a part of international movements to support science, combat climate change, ban plastics, and raise local awareness to protect our island’s resources. Minors must be accompanied by parents or a responsible adult.
